project 365 - snippets of home - 5-11

almost halfway thru january? can you even believe it? we had a good week. finally finished emerson's room(except the carpet removal, which is happening today and tomorrow...ya!) and just enjoyed being home. i am so grateful to be home with my family.

we had some great news come our way last night. brandon went into work last night to find out that 9 employees were permanently laid off. ouch. brandon's boss talked privately with him and told him to feel very safe in his position aaaannnndddd, starting monday, he will be back on 1st shift! we are so excited. a year on 2nd shift takes it's toll. God is good.

onto my project 365. snippets of home - days 5-11.

day 5: welcome. our door was the first thing i painted. it pops.

day 6: it's so good to have emerson's walls decorated.

day 7: my old girl. always where i am, and always sleepy.

day 8: cause it's hard to do sometimes.

day 9: our succulents basking in the light from our huge dining room window

day 10: afternoon caffeine in a stained mug.

day 11: i don't want there to be a day when there aren't toys posed around our house.
