embrace the family photos

for christmas this year, my mom asked that the only present my siblings and i give her were up-to-date pictures of our families for her wall. 

my sister ashley had the great idea to get a group picture done with all of us (5 siblings) and our families and also give them to our parents.

using my sister's camera and tripod, we all met at my mother-in-law's farm and got busy.  we were really happy with how they turned out.

we took A LOT of group pics. did you know it's not easy to get 14 people to look at the camera at the same time, let alone smile? it came down to one shot, and we couldn't believe how well it turned out. we got our parents each a big canvas for their wall. they loved it. there were tears. that's a good present.
